• Taking the model off the critical path

  A booking agent on WhatsApp was taking 7.4–9.4 seconds to confirm, and could tell a guest a table was booked when it was not. Moving the commit off the model's turn cut it to ~0.9s and made the failure structurally unreachable.

• The machine sells the ticket

  An unattended machine committing a real transaction against someone else's system of record, with nobody there to fix it. Ten kiosks and no box office at the pilot; 17 cineplexes nationwide by the end of the rollout.
