SISTRAPORT
by Paulo Márquez Herrero for GAPH Consultores S.L.
SISTRAPORT was originally architected to be a centralized repository for managing the credentials (permits, certificates, licenses, insurance, etc) of all drivers, vehicles and the companies that hire the drivers and/or own the vehicles requesting access to the sea port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The platform was later extended to manage the process of issuing the credentials that grant or restrict access for individuals to the different areas of the sea port.

From the initial requirements, SISTRAPORT was designed to be accessible via web services (SOAP) and all of its modules were created so they could work independent from each other, allowing authorized users to access a subset of modules for a purposes such as invoicing or port security.
